Sequence Translation
Translate DNA sequences to amino acid sequences.
Steps
- Select the
Sequence
button from the navigation bar. - Select
Translate sequences
from the dropdown menu. - Add the input files by clicking the
Add file
button. On desktop platforms, you can also input a directory by clicking theAdd directory
button. The app will look for matching files in the directory. - Select the output directory by clicking the
Add directory
button. - Select the output sequence format.
- Select the translation table. The default is the standard genetic code.
- Select the reading frame. The default is the first reading frame.
- Click the
Run
button labeledTranslate
to start the task.
Output
The app will generate a file containing the translated sequences. The default name is the input file.
