Sequence Translation

Translate DNA sequences to amino acid sequences.

Steps

  1. Select the Sequence button from the navigation bar.
  2. Select Translate sequences from the dropdown menu.
  3. Add the input files by clicking the Add file button. On desktop platforms, you can also input a directory by clicking the Add directory button. The app will look for matching files in the directory.
  4. Select the output directory by clicking the Add directory button.
  5. Select the output sequence format.
  6. Select the translation table. The default is the standard genetic code.
  7. Select the reading frame. The default is the first reading frame.
  8. Click the Run button labeled Translate to start the task.

Output

The app will generate a file containing the translated sequences. The default name is the input file.
